Working with a new media brand to make a mark on Facebook and the Internet at large.

80+ Million Social Viewers

INSH had a small but respectable social following at the outset. I forged partnerships with established Internet media brands to bring INSH an extended audience of more than 80 million combined followers, which drove video views and the advertising revenue they produced.

80,000 Blog Views in 5 Months

“20 Good News Stories You Haven’t Heard About,” Interesting Sh-t’s first and most impressive viral video, needed a written component. I wrote it to complement the video, and it gained 80,000 views in around 3 months, with an average time on page of nearly five minutes.

600,000 Facebook Followers

Interesting Sh-t began 2017 with 50,000 followers—a great start for a page so new. Combining my partnership outreach strategy and community management direction with a coworkers’ savvy PPC strategy grew the brand’s Facebook page to over 600,000 followers just one year later.

The results of the project

Interesting Sh-t gained a huge audience in the span of a single year. The strategic partnerships we formed put more than 80 million people at the brand’s disposal, and its Facebook page grew from 50,000 to 600,000.

Complementing that were a handful of genuinely viral stories, and I had the priviledge to write one or two of them. One written story in particular gained 80,000 views in under 5 months. This established the brand as an immediate challenger in a new industry.
